LIST: Canada City Tourism/Hotel Promotions

Been trying to find a resource that would help list some of the promotions that are being run by certain cities/regions in Canada and couldn't find one so thought maybe this could help others in the same situation planning a staycation of sorts or some domestic travel.

I've noticed a few of these cities are running tourism promo's for hotel stays. This may not be an exhaustive list but is only what I've found so far.

Vancouver, BC : StayVancouver is running their Visa Giftcard promotion again. Get up to $175 in giftcards for stays of atleast one night to two nights.

Richmond, BC : Richmond Tourism is running a giftcard campaign for stays as little as 1 night. Giftcards range from $75 to $125 depending on tier of hotel. Tourism Richmond

Victoria, BC : Victoria has a giftcard campaign for stays of atleast 2 nights for hotels booked through Tourism Victoria. Tourism Victoria

Ottawa, ON : Ottawa is providing visitors that book a 2 night stay with a voucher that can be redeemed up to $200 in "Value" at certain attractions and restaurants. Looks like it must be booked through Tourism Ottawa and bookings are non-refundable.

Quebec City, QC : Quebec City is providing a $75 Giftcard to certain businesses in the area for stays of atleast 2 nights. Must be booked through Tourism Quebec City

Make sure you read the terms and conditions of these programs before you book as some look to be non-refundable/non-changeable.

If there's more campaigns out there, would love to hear about them and add to the list.

Nice list and great thread. I looked at tourism Victoria and it’s for BC residents only. So make sure you read the t and c.

I’m a resident but since this forum is full of Torontoians I’d figure id mention.

Hotels in BC right now are insane $400+ a night if there is space.

I wouldn’t count in much in $200-$300 category in major cities. Anything less then that and it’s a dorm in a hostel.

Also okanagan is dealing with a lot of fire/smoke
Autocorrect sucks
