Little black dots - new shingles
Just had my roof re-shingled. I just noticed there are lots of little black dots (from asphalt) on my outdoor furniture. Is it normal for new shingles during curing period?

Those are the granules from the asphalt shingles. It will go away over time.

As others have mentioned, totally normal for new shingles. In fact, you probably have a ton of them in your eavestrough and will get more as it rains.
