living room very hot

living room very hot

I have ecobee with 1 additional sensor. i noticed that today it was extremely hot. when i noticed the sensor, it shows that the living room master sensor is smoking hot.

it was also running for long time. i did goto history and could not find a day when it ran for 10 hours.

i am not sure how to disconnect the additional sensor as it seems to take the values of the additional sensor and keep pushinp up the heat.

Go to Ecobee app settings >Comfort Settings >select schedule and choose the participating sensors.

How do you have your Ecobee set up? Looks like it's set the heat to 22.5 and only has the Office senor participating and not the actual thermostat. There's a big 5 degree difference, is the register in the office closed or blocked? By the way your humidity is very low at 26%.

i had to fix it to enable active sensor settings for both.
i am not able to do anything about humidity. its set to the highest level at furnace.
