Thanks OP! Thanks also to @ShocWave for the heads-up in the "Gift Card Deals & Discounts" thread that the upcoming "Points Day" banner had an Apple gift card listed.

Is 15k points per $100 as good as it gets for Apple gift cards?

Pretty much. Usually the deal is 5k on $50.

Timings good for me. Need to renew my Disney+ soon and may as well get some points out of it.

I feel that Shoppers has the Google Play promos relatively often?

How would this offer apply to Disney+? Just curious to know for when mine is up for renewal. Thanks!

The Apple Gift Cards that you buy can be added to your Apple ID balance (Apple App Store balance). When Disney+ renews, the amount will be taken from your Apple App Store balance.

Good deal to combine with the new Mac Mini with education pricing.

$756 for the Mac Mini after tax (with $44 left in your Apple account) + $120 in PC points

I'm looking to buy an iPad Pro (~$2K).

Is there a way that I can buy that many gift cards and load them on my Apple Pay, Wallet, or Apple ID?

I'd like to avoid walking over to the Apple store with 20+ x $100 gift cards.

Costco was the best when it was just the App Store/iTunes GC, but now that you can buy hardware from Apple with these I haven’t seen the deal come back. If I recall correctly that was 16-18% off $100+ plus your 2% back from membership so about 20%.

I’m guessing $500 GC (75k pts/$75 back) will be the max per account?

I believe you’ll have to first do 4 separate $500 transactions at SDM. Then I think there may be a cap on how much you can add to your Apple wallet ($2000?)

Heads up for anyone stocking up on Apple for a device purchase: by paying with GCs (at a 15% discount per this deal) you're giving up the extended protection warranty available with a lot of credit cards. (I use my Tangerine MC for this)

If you haven't heard of it, it's a free insurance where your credit card company extends the manufacturer's warranty by an extra year on the condition that you charge the full device purchase to your credit card. I only vouch for this because I personally used it on a failed motherboard/logic board on month 20 of a MacBook purchase myself, and was fully covered. If you purchase AppleCare, this is moot, though.

The 15% discount up front may offset that benefit for some though, just wanted to spread the info!
