We got them too but from independent stores. The weird part is they gave them to the same account that received 15 straight weeks of free items near the end of last year. So not sure what algorithm they used to determine who to get freebies, for sure it’s not round robin

It’s very rare and generally target cards that are rarely or never used. Basically it doesn’t apply to anyone who regularly stops there (unless you have extra inactive cards).

I think that was when I last received freebies. Last went to Loblaws in mid December to buy ubereats gift cards so maybe 4 months of inactivity is there trigger? Other than that, probably visit Loblaws 0-2 times/year

I don’t check my app regularly and it’s nice to know what freebies are out there too. I’m not gonna downvote like crazy cause I can’t get it. Pretty soon folks will not even wanna post anything on here as they will worry about being downvoted.

My goal isn't to satisfy everyone with a deal that benefits 100% of this community; just someone. Even in cases where posts benefit everyone, like my 5 cent Esso discount in January (659 upvote, 10 downvote), there's always a Negative Nancy who will down vote because they woke up on the wrong side of the bed.

Can't win either way. And I don't care to :)

Well said! Ahem! It's like giving away 1000 free slices of cake and then hearing 1 million other people complaining that they didn't get a piece, lol. You can’t feed everyone lol
