Prior to inflation spiralling out of control, the spending amount was only $150 to get 75,000 optimum points. I think those days are long gone given the current situation. It’s an okay deal if your insurance can cover all of the costs.

In February this year it was 75K for $150 spend. I also had 12500K for $125 spend, their offers are sometimes stackable. I ended up with about 375K points.

I believe that the 75K for $150 spend was about once or twice a year, but as someone said, with inflation kicking in, it might or might not come around again.

They have a couple of in house brands of frames, but they immediately try to upsell you to the more expensive frames which are 2 or 3 times more expensive than the in house frames that are included in the price

The promo is good for 2 weeks. The checkouts and the optical store had posted this promo for Sept 22 - Oct 5. This is in Calgary and I think it'll be the same for all the stores as my buddy in Vancouver had seen a similar posted at the Grandview store.

I spent $438 and got 170K points back, the extra 20K it says from using PC credit card, but I used CIBC cc although I don't mind the extra points. I also got 10% cash back from CIBC credit card and claimed the expense on insurance (I knew it was not as good as last year but I had to use up or it'll be gone))

What's people's opinion on the quality of their glasses and lenses compared to Costco?
