I work in the QC lab at the factory that makes this. The no name regular and light bricks are the exact same as Lactantia brand name.

I can't eat anything besides Philadelphia Cream Cheese, nothing just tastes the same.

Although I guess this wouldn't be too bad in a cheesecake or something where it gets mixed in. But for toast/bread, it's gotta be Philly's.

Who makes this? My initial thought is Parmalat, but not 100%

If you bought one, is there a plant code on it?

@obuzzwan76 says it's made in same plant as Lactantia, so it's Parmalat and they are owned by Lactalis

Doesn't hold a candle to Philly's cream cheese, and spoils faster as well.

(Don't worry, no downvote from me)

Philly keeps longer because it has sorbic acid in it. Not saying that's a bad thing, just sayin

No name have always been miss for me. I've tried many different brands and compared to president's choice and president's choice is alwys the better one by far.

Quarantine baking ftw. The amount of these I've used in baking over the last month is embarrassing:
  • Cheesecake three different ways
  • Red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting
  • Cupcakes with cream cheese icing and filling
  • Carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and roasted walnuts
Pro-tip: Keep this cream cheese cold (i.e. don't bring it to room temperature) if using for cream cheese icing that you want to be stiff and to maintain its shape when piped, for example.

lol, and before anyone chimes in about diabetes, I'm at 13% body fat and was able to indulge despite being in the middle of a cut. Though I may have wrecked some family member's diets, who aren't as disciplined as me.
