I'm 1-2 months removed from my Nutella addiction (~4yrs) but I think like a crackhead, this is going to make me relapse.

Question:. Had the recipe changed? Any of the original product still for sale?

Thanks

Easier is to dip a little spoon into nutwlla jar and wash it off with cold milk. Can finish half of little jar in no time. Pensive Face
This is hot, thanks op.

Is it just me or they changed something in the recipe in 2017?
There seems to be a slight difference in taste; more sugar, less hazelnut taste.
Anyone else catch that?

I got 2 at Pickering location. The shelf price was $3.99, but they scanned at $3.74.

Thanks Op! Picked up two yesterday afternoon at the Carlton Loblaws. There were also nutella bottles in the spreads aisle but they didn't have the discounted price tag and I couldn't find a scanner, so searched around for the shelves that you posted pics of. In case anyone is looking for them, they're at the back of aisle 23. Got expiry date of Nov 2018 (though some had Oct 2018)

The Nutella you buy in grocery stores is made in Ontario and has a lot of sugar in it. If you can find a specialty Italian store that imports it, it's completely different. It has more of a hazelnut taste and less sugar. it's pricy though...close to $10 for a jar.

The sale is at Loblaws, not RCSS.

This. In the EU and most parts of the world it comes in a glass container. I Always bring some back from Turkey whenever I visit the inlaws and, there's a big difference in taste and texture. Too dry and sugary here while the Turkish one is creamy and chocolatey; you also see some oil seperation as well lol.

An alternative to Nutella in Canada, can't remember the brand name properly, is I believe Gourment which is made in Germany, a bit creamier, more of a chocolate taste and I believe a bit less sugar. In Quebec they can be found at Maxi, metro and IGA (possibly others) and in Ontario I think I've seen it only in No Frills.

Has anyone gotten this price at any other Loblaws?

If everyone else is getting a higher price, the OP should change the title to reflect that (location).
