[Loblaws] PC Health app - Create your account and receive 10,000 PC Optimum points YMMV

Got this offer in my PC Optimum account. I already have a PC Health account so the offer is useless for me.
Not sure why it shows up in my account.

Details: *Receive 10,000 points when you download the PC Health app and create your account by 11:59 ET December 15, 2021. Points will appear in PC Optimum™ account by January 15, 2022.

I think I did in the wrong order, created an account on PC Health app and then signed up on pcoptimum.ca. Am I still eligible to this offer?

Terms state clearly, the sequence should be opposite. But you can create a new PC health account and then you should get 10k points.

Question, so when I first launch the app, I'm assuming that I'm creating a new "PC id" account? But then it says that the email address that I'm using to register already exists.. so do I just sign in with my PC account instead? Is that "creating an account"?

I just downloaded the app, but when I tried signing up, it said I already have a pcid account and signed in with that. Did anyone else have this situation?

Think if u already PCO member, it uses the same profile. Will keep an eye on the 10k pts cuz it does not look right the way. The tiny 40pts they give u when u click on their msgs are tho

How does this app track your activities?

I imagine it works like Manulife Vitality where you can connect your Strava or Garmin Connect account, but this one wants Google Fit which I dont have

Don't you have to create the PC Health account with the same email address registered for PC Optimum to get the 10K pts.

If that's correct, if you already have a PC Health acct seems you can't get the 10K pts, no?
