At 3.99 for 12 rolls, this is similar to the offer of $9.98 for 30 rolls two weeks ago.

In other words, how hot is this offer?
Hot, if you consider PC brand of acceptable quality. Some RFDers say it's garbage.

$3.33/(253x12)*1000 = $1.0968 / 1K sheets

Compare with recents:
Costco Kirkland at $17.99: $1.411
Walmart "Royale Original 30=80" at $14.97: $1.4793
RCSS "Cashmere 24=48" at $9.98: $1.7183

Maybe YMMV?
Ours has the last sheet (or few sheets) glued to the roll. Been like this for all PC TP we've bought in the last while.

Gee! How dirty is your floor?
Thinking about what TP is used for...

Just squeeze the roll so it's not round anymore.
It won't unravel easily.

Can someone explain to me why one variety of bathroom tissues have 253 sheets per roll and the other variety have only 142 sheets per roll? Both rolls are 2-ply and have same sheet size. Is it because one is "thicker" than the other? Is this really a selling point? Is there a difference in some other characteristic?

My apology in advance for my lack of know-how when it comes to bathroom tissues.

Good observation.
If both are 2-ply, the one with 142 sheets must be thicker and should be compared to 3-ply tissue.

The PC Max (Dark Blue Package) is a 3-ply tissue similar to Royale 3-ply Strong, while the normal PC (White Package) is the same as Royale Original.

I see 1400 points for every $7 spent on PC Bathroom tissue as well in my PC Optimum offers. Or are we talking about the same deal?

I think it’s just their prerogative to have the number of sheets per roll. I do notice that the number of sheets has gone down but the price has gone up.

That's a personal offer for you. Meaning (If you have one of the stores listed near you), you could get the $3.33 price, PLUS 1,400Pts for every $7 you spend on the toilet paper. That would make it an even sweeter deal!!

Not a bad deal we were just there yesterday and probably would of picked a pack up but we just always buy the costco brand pack at regular price is still always usually the best deal.

That is not what I am seeing. I bought both packs. They are sitting in front of me as I am typing this.

Both packaging said 2-ply, including the PC Max.

Is this a packaging misprint or has the product been downgraded?

Sigh... Never before until now that I would care between 2-ply and 3-ply... Must be all of the craziness happening in the world right now.
