[Loblaws] RCA 65in Smart TV

Just saw this at Loblaws in Ottawa. Not sure if it is everywhere.

Pretty good price for such a large TV?

Hisense deal at Costco is a better deal if you have membership.

Stick to Hisense on the low end. The dumpster fire brands like RCA are a massive dice roll.

It is going to be $100 cheaper at Walmart for Boxing Day, better get the extended warranty if you get an RCA. lol

I got one last yr from superstore during a no tax event .. great family room set when you have little ones that leave it on and it's paused and then forget . I don't have to worry that they will ruin a expensive set... I moved my Panasonic plasma to the bedroom so it's safe. Only the oleds which are $$$$ show a improved pic. So for now this will do.

Did you see it on the flyer?

I only see the RCA 65" 4k non smart version.

You are correct other version isn't smart, but for $100 less I would add a streaming box of somekind.

Exactly. Spending money for smart features on TV is a waste. Better of buying a separate box that will have actual support and updates.

My 2016 vintage Samsung KU7000 40 inch still gets updates. I guess it depends on the TV and the manufacturer.
