[Dell] Logitech M305 Optical or M310 Laser Wireless Mice w/Nano Receivers $14.99 + Free Ship

If you need a wireless mouse for cheap, Dell.ca has 2 Logitech models on sale with nano receivers. The M305 model (optical) and M310 model (laser) can both be had for $14.99 each. These were priced the same recently, but I think they're worth another mention. There are slight differences in shape and design, but both are basic 3 button mice (2 buttons and the scroll wheel). The M310 is bigger while you might consider the M305 more of a travel mouse.

good deal.

m305 is smaller than the m310. Just fyi people were wondering.... both have nano receivers but m310 may fit better in people who have "normal sized hands".

What's the difference between the M series and V series (say for example, the M305 vs the V220, they look almost the same)? Is it using the same optics? One reviewer on Dell's site says it won't work on desktop and it's not precise. However I have the V220 and have no issues with that whatsoever. I don't know how it compares to M series though .....

The M305 should basically be an updated V220. The main change is the now much smaller nano receiver. They both use a 1000dpi optical sensor.

The M310 uses a laser sensor and is physically bigger.

If size wasn't of concern, which one would people go for? I prefer the smaller but is laser better?

I have the M310 at work, love it. The bigger size helped since I used to get cramps when I was using a smaller mouse.

the ergonomic is great as well on the M310

highly recommended.

i prefer smaller for portability and larger for actual use if you have your laptop docked and don't travel a lot with it.

Today's a bumper day for stores clearing out their Logitech stock

Some people are looking for a small mouse with a nano receiver rather than an entire desktop set with a bigger receiver.

Different strokes for different folks.

Somebody at work has what I believe is the M305 with the nano receiver. It is pretty small. I prefer using a full-sized corded Logitech optical mouse over the M305.

I was going to get the M310 Red Tendrills one, but it's sold out.

They still have the M310 Rainbow design. I'll pass on that one though.

I am looking for a mouse for my parents laptop, 310 seems ok in-terms of the dimensions for them.
However, the reviews on the Dell website are not so favorable, some love it some hate it....

is this only good for laptops?

I got a laptop wireless mouse from like 5 years ago, so now with my desktop I sometimes have tracking problems and it gets frustrating, and the distance between the usb receiver and the mouse is like about a meter.. (desktop to the left of the screen and i'm right handed).

I want to get a new wireless mouse but i'm wondering if this will be the same old. giving me problems using it with my desktop..

thank you
