What is the difference between this and a regular instant pot?
Using pressure cooker for rice (basmati) can remove lectins. So I will buy one if I dont have an instant pot already.
If I buy something that is not in deep discounted, my father will punish me; everyone will laugh at me. I will be the strange kid who doesn't fit in.

Wondering the same as my wife said they do the same thing...everything I read says the normal pressure cooker one (that I have) can make 6.5 cups but this thing can make 20 and the insides look different.

We have a little 4cup rice cooker that was $10 but 2 growing boys to feed.

This zest version has no pressure cooking ability as the regular instant pots have. Zest is essentially regulated to cook rice and people say it does a better job than the regular instant pot with pressure cooking ability. Also I think the pots are different, ceramic vs stainless? Zest can't make the pressure cooker recipes.

In that case, it is useless for me as I need the pressure cooking function to kill off the lectins in the rice.
