Hmm wonder what tab med cost will be cause I don't want to lose my plan.

cause sometimes they'll give that instant credit on tab L but wont on tab S or M which sucks :(

...except, when you click on iPhone 7 32GB on page 1, it doesn't say there is any gift card offered.

does the tab mean that you have to pay monthly on top of your plan? or does your plan cover the tab portion?

It's on top of the monthly plan cost.

Can't be price matched in Ontario because obviously there is no London Drugs in Ontario. Sometimes I feel every province in Canada should be an independent country.

on top - that way koodo can offer "headline-grabbing low monthly prices" that undercut the competition, but in reality, tend to be closer to the norm.

for example, some guy gets an iphone 7 from koodo on their tab large at $74, thinking they're getting a big discount compared to other providers for a low-end plan, but then they get a $95+tx bill (+$21 montly tab over 2 years), which is much closer to the norm for a 2-year contract.

the only reason to go with koodo is find a crazy deal for an existing phone, or get a really crazy deal on a tab phone. otherwise it's just a 2-year contract @ $95-$130 a month for a current model, depending on the plan.
My last and final digital game I purchased at PSN from those Sony Devils was on November 22, 2020 - Ban that Sorny!

Actually this benefits the user as the plan will decrease in price the moment the tab is paid

Unlike Rogers/fido/Bell

so if I pay off my medium tab on my existing account I can add the iphone 6s to it with $0 down and it renews my tab to $360 and I get the $200 LD gift card?

So can anyone confirm? I buy the iPhone 6s with Koodo on Tab Medium. This puts 360$ on the tab and I get a 200$ GC + 25 Referrel credit. Do I have to keep going for 3 months or can I cancel immediately and then I would just pay off the tab (360$) so technically the total cost: 360 - 200 - 25 = 135$ + taxes?????

So by doing the Koodo Large Tab with S8, I would pay 200+504+tax and I would get a $200 gift card + 50 (coupon?)?

And can i cancel immediately, or will the gift card get clawed back?

You may not.
Policy is 90 days.
LDE is preloaded.
Do you get the concept of preloaded and account specific?

After being on T-Mobile for years, this "tab" business is convoluted. I still don't get it, and I worked for Verizon and TMo. If I buy a phone there, it's equal monthly instalments until it's paid off regardless of the plan.

I'm guessing Canadian telcos are doing it this way just to screw with Canadians and profoundly confuse them. A confused customer is a good customer!
In your pants!
