I've owned a C7P for almost a year. It's on an average of 3-4 hours a day and no burn in issues. Tired of this nonsense.
I kept hearing the same stuff about the plasma when I was buying one 14 years ago. Well, 14 years on still no burn in.

RTings review doesn't even say anything other than "potential". Even an lcd has the potential for burn in.
With OLED its not actually image retention as we used to experience with LCD/plasma, its uneven wear across pixels which leaves some pixels dimmer than others.

I'm seeing the 55" advertised at this price online. Is this in store only?

Checked in store and the price is indeed $1999 for the 65", but there are only 2 stores in AB that have 1 in stock each (likely demo units).

Wait, so it didnt happen to you so it must not be true? Lame

I've never been in a car accident and yet i drive to work every day, accidents must not be real

My computer hadn't had a virus, there must be no such thing as a virus......

I could go on and on. Burn in on an oled is real, all I have to do is turn on my TV to prove it.

I had a Panasonic plasma prior, and also a Samsung, no issues there.

Just went in and confirmed it's the 65" demo unit. Still worth it?

Personally I wouldn't buy it since it probably has burn in. however I have heard of people getting demo OLED units and getting LG to replace their panels due to burn in, but it's extremely YMMV and most likely won't work.

I also agree , also instore they constantly clean the screen with old dirty cloths, usually causing scratches.
