Guildford and Cloverdale are gone. Save yourself the trip. Cloverdale just sold it approx. 6 mins ago, and Guildford someone bought the last like 25 mins ago. Only probably remote or less busy areas in BC might still have them.

This is selling more than Wii, but no way is it the first console like this. It just seems that way due to the fact there is eBay, facebook marketplace, craigslist and scalpers and easy to resell and whatnot. I worked Best Buy during the 360, PS3 and Wii launches. Wii was brutal with restocks. Even Series X is selling out. Even Switch was sold out until holiday last year and is in short supply.
If something takes minutes, hours, to sell out it is still selling out. RTX 3070, 3080 and 3090 sell out in seconds. AMD Radeon 6700XT, 6800, 6800XT and 6900XT all sell out in seconds too. PS5 is being restocked more and it is a great console. I never buy Sony at launch, but I feel like this is similar to how I felt when Xbox 360 launched. Already have put in so many hours playing the Spidermans, Demons Souls, now Returnal etc.
