Stayed in London as a pit-stop to visit Grand Bend for a beach day during labour day weekend. Stayed at Four Points in White Oaks area - thought it was nice, quiet getaway from the big city.

Booked through booking.com so not eligible for the promotion. Cheers

It’s an extension of the Kitchener line. Only 4 hours each way if you depart/arrive Union!
Lol I cant see this pilot being overly successful. 4 hours is pretty long.

It only takes 2 hours to drive (I know you need to have a car though..)

The city of London didn't fix a street since 1908. You will end up spending 1k on your car after 1 visit

The ironic thing is that we literally have construction going on streets all year every year

5 hour queues @Heathrow and low food supplies. I love London too but feels a bit messy these days.

I was beyond disappointed since I lived here 15 years ago and came back. Unbelievable, they had 2 summers to fix at least the main streets and they didn't touch anything.

I stayed there before. I have to agree. Some rooms even have a balcony with the view of the nice indoor pool. Feels like a swim park.

its not really the point to go the entire way but allows for direct kitchener/london traffic or other shorter routes not the entire trip to union

Pricing is no different in London than most other major cities in Ontario these days. Only a slight bit lower than the likes of Hamilton.

I know people that bought a few townhomes out in London for $150-$200k a few years ago, those same houses selling for $500+ now. Imagine having multiple returns of $300k+.

I know this price increase happened pretty much everywhere, I guess it sticks in my head a little differently because something in the $100s could be bought out there just a few years ago.

Really fancy fully custom houses in the London area however are still like 1/3 the price of anywhere decent in the GTA (ie $1m vs $3m)
