Long-term lease/rental?

My parents totalled their car. We've been unable to settle on a new vehicle and I've despised the car shopping process.

Is there a short-term lease availability or a long-term rental option? We no longer have insurance because we didn't buy a new car fast enough, so any insurance will have to be either renegotiated or carried by the credit card.

Any suggestions? It is all a world about which I know nothing.

I would look for a lease take over. Try leasebusters. Your parents will need to get insurance.

I haven't rented a car in a long time but i think it's going to cost at least $150-$200/week for an economy car. That's going to add up very quickly in the long run. Not sure how a credit card company will cover insurance in this kind of situation.

Better start shopping for another car.

Wow long term rental is so not the way to go...ya try leasebusters or kijiji and see if there are any short term lease takeovers you can consider. Honestly some of them are okay deals. And really for short term you don't need anything special.
RFD is love. RFD is life. I wish I had an RFDer for a wife.

Loan qualification isn't an issue. I don't like the idea of just looking on kijiji to buy a car, I was hoping there was some other leasing/long-term rental situation I didn't know about. Thank all
