Looking for Budget Gaming PC that's minimum equal to this

Daughter wants to upgrade from her laptop to a PC. Needs to be equal or better than listed Acer n50-100 with upgraded ram (16gb) and HD (1tb SSD)

She's saved $1k and I'll buy the monitor/mouse/keyboard. She playes Minecraft and League I'm out of the loop🤷‍♂️.

Was thinking about this Dell

That's a fair price in today's market. More than enough horsepower for the games shes playing. Some say maybe even overkill. Guess it'll give her room to grow into. Select the 2X8gb ram configuration instead of the 1X16gb to take advantage of dual channel memory. You might want to add an additional hard drive later to get more storage since games nowadays can get take a lot of hard drive space. The machine should have room for at least one more SATA hard drive ( SSD or good old mechanical). The Dell upgrade to 1TB for $150 is not that great of the deal since you have to sacrifice the 512gb ssd for it, hence adding it yourself later is better deal.

+1 to pretty much everything @coilz said in his post above.

The market is bad right now for GPU's (Graphics cards) since the pandemic. Getting all that for $1K with a year's warranty is a good deal. The GPU is perfect for the games she is playing. Just make sure to buy a 1080p monitor (1920x1080) resolution, and all is good with the rest.

Like already stated, choose the free 2x8GB ram config on checkout instead of the single stick of 1x16GB to take advantage of dual channel. Unfortunately the customize doesn't give an option for you to add a mechanical drive extra for storage. DELL is forcing you to buy the model up for $1149.99 to get a 1TB mechanical hard drive along side the 512GB SSD, which is a complete rip off. --> https://deals.dell.com/en-ca/productdetail/9kvh The upgrade to a 1TB SSD for $150 more is also a complete rip off as well. 512GB SSD is plenty for a boot drive. It would also be cheaper to buy a HDD drive for games/storage after the fact, and just open up the case and install it yourself.

2TB WD BLUE

2TB Seagate

Or, if you don't feel comfortable buying your own drive and installing it there is another option.
This DELL system here for $949.
https://deals.dell.com/en-ca/productdetail/9kvd

It has the same hardware as the link you posted except a smaller SSD 256GB and a 2TB HDD drive (for storage) the only gripe is, it comes with 8GB of RAM, so you have to pay $100 extra to bump it up to 16GB (2x8GB) which is the sweet spot, making the price $1049. This way you get 16GB of RAM and 2TB storage for game files & media, but the boot drive is smaller at only 256GB. That's probably the better deal since the one you posted is $979 for just a 512GB SSD drive. For $70 more you get the 2TB HDD drive for game files/storage at the cost of a smaller boot drive, and you don't have to tinker around with adding your own storage in the future if you don't feel comfortable doing that.

The other "upgrade" option DELL throws at you is 512GB + 1TB HDD instead of the 256 + 2TB for $50 more, making the total $1099. $100 over budget but it gives you options to work with if you don't want to tinker around with adding drives yourself. Something to consider.

This one is a little over $1k but decent brand parts and not proprietary like the dell so upgradeable.
Add another 8 Gb of Ram.
It's a bit more flashy with the RGB lights as well.
you also get a keyboard and mouse with it it seems.

So for $60 ram upgrade these will have the same price/specs. Only difference is the Dell isn't upgradable? Secondary want something upgradable as I did that with the Acer n50-100

This is a good brand. I bought this with i5 8400, B360 mb, 1060 3gb, 8gb, 128gb SSD, 1tb HDD, basic kb and mouse. With this brand, it uses brand name components and upgradable, unlike Dell, Lenovo, Acer, HP.

When it comes to mice and keyboards, do you use Amazon? I always see a lot of them in Amazon Warehouse deals (do a Google search). Check under their Video Games category from there.
For example if you are patient there are often many Razer and Logitech mice there. Warehouse deals are basically new or practically new items in very beat up boxes, there's a thread in Shopping Discussion you can follow for RFD testimonials on the products received.
c'mon get happy!

Cheers, I'll check it out. If I can find a UNI code I'll get the Dell and go this route.

According to the reviews the cyberpower has an MSI brand MB and a Gigabyte brand GPU which are decent brands.
Limitations may be the case itself for how much room is available to add more cooling, drives etc.
Not sure about PSU on the cyberpower but again easier to upgrade/replace than a proprietary dell psu.
The Dell being proprietary makes upgrading sometimes difficult depending on case size and PSU.

Now just looking for cheap 27" monitor
One option you can do if you want a matching pair of RAM is order the PC from Amazon (very good deal, and better then DELL, since upgradable very easily using available components) and when it arrives, look at the 8GB DIMM stick in there, pull it out and write the model and serial # in here and we can find you a matching 8GB stick, this way you will have the same RAM and have it running in dual channel, its always an option as well.

How much do you want to spend on the monitor? Some good deals on Amazon,

Apparently it's Crucial Ballistix 8GB 3000Mhz, RGB

I will wait until it comes in and go with the cheapest route after that Thumbs Up Sign.

Did you mean ASUS? You posted a link to an ASUS screen. Its fine, height, tilt, pivot design, gaming, 75Hz, Freesync, Displayport, yea all good features for $200. Good deal, she will be impressed for sure. That CyberPC looks pretty nice as well.
