Looking for a cheap desktop for surfing and email

Hi All;
Helping an elderly neighbor find a used desktop to be used only for surfing and email.
Budget is around $200

Why not a laptop? gives you portability + your regular usage

It is for an elderly neighbor.
Old computer is a desktop - I did try to sell the convenience of a laptop but no go

$200 you need monitor as well?

How about the android box working as a desktop? You will not have to worry about viruses etc.
