That’s a RFD joke. Notice that it’s a “joke” and not actually advice.

In terms of Lenovo, before a sale, prices are often jacked up to the “Canadian Tire” point, so if you do choose to purchase from them, just make sure the specs are reasonable for the price and don’t just look at the % discount.

And it also depends what you’re looking for: sub $1,000, more than $2,000 or something in between?

But at the end of the day, Black Friday can be a great time to get to know the market & how low things can go.

Uesless answer: Wait for Lenovo price error. Get a time machine if you have the capital.

Plausible answer: Black friday is usually pretty good. I got a good Dell laptop deal a few years back. Narrow down your search to a few brands/models and go from there.

Wait. Was the $1250 for a 2060 the price error? I thought it was sub $1000.

While it's good I can get that today (or yesterday rather) for about $1500. Not nearly as good as $1250ish but still.
Might pull the trigger at $1500.
