Looking for a good wireless router / network advice

Looking for the best bang for your buck wireless router under $100.

Here is my current setup:

- Arris cable box from Eastlink, with built in wifi router on main level.

- Linksys Wrt54g connected to powerline in the basement.

- Linksys Wrt160n connected to powerline upstairs.

I get horrible connection and speeds on all routers. My house isn't that big (2200 square feet), but it is tall.

Would having 3 routers cause collisions, thus degrading performance? Also, I notice that when I'm downloading nzb, my wifi is even worse. Would QoS help with this?

My main goal is good range first, then speed. Thanks for your help!

If you don't mind refurbished there are a couple of good routers available at a great price - I would prefer the EA4500 out of the 2 below. After $12 additional shipping discount on $60, you pay $48 + SH + Taxes. And you do not have to flash it to the latest version manually unlike the E4200V2.

30 days warranty is scary...also I heard that you can't buy extra warranty for the refurbs?
