Looking for inexpensive Japanese purple sweet potato deals

Looking specifically for Okinawan (white skin/ purple flesh) ones. Most sold in Asian grocery stores or Whole Foods are the Stokes / Murasaki ones. Preferably in downtown Toronto.

Also amused by the remark that downtown is preferred and does CostCo sell them? Since when is CostCo in downtown anywhere?

Vancouver has one right downtown. You'd think the OP would be in Vancouver based on that remark alone, but this is RFD after all...

I haven't seen any japanese sweet potato at my costco. They only have those that have purple skin and white flesh inside. But not the one with purple flesh. (Okinawan sweet potatoes)

Those with purple flesh are expensive. Like $2.99 and up per lb.... And I've only seen them at Asian grocery stores (T&T, H Mart, Kim's ...etc)

Pretty easy to find at the Asian groceries stores around me. Assume the Chinatown area should have them.
Good, better, best. Never let it rest. 'Til your good is better and your better is best.

Regular potatoes are. Japanese sweet potatoes aren't.

Downtown is prefered because I live downtown & don't have a car.

I realize Costco is not downtown but they do deliver or sometimes I can place an order with a friend who goes because he has a car.

I find it funny how he has said "downtown" twice but STILL hasn't mentioned which city or town in Canada he's in.
But we all know of course :P
