Looking for new tv to replace old Sony rear projection

I have an old Sony rear projection tv which I had a cabinet built around and am now looking for a Smart Tv to replace it. Looking for 55-60 inch. Any recommendations or sales this weekend?

If not in a hurry. Wait for Black Friday. BF deals have been as good as if not better than Boxing Day deals

You will barely fit a 55" diagonal length TV.

The good news is that you'll save money over the 60"+ alternatives.

Look for one of the two TVs and you won't be disappointed:
1) Vizio P55-F (2018) 55" TV
2) Sony X900F (2018) 55" TV

You'll find these sets between $950 and $1250 + tax depending on how aggressively they're priced on Black Friday.

Both are excellent panels, IMO.

Looks like you'll be looking at a 55" TV... tv size measured in diagonal hence it'll fit in your 52" hole. You might be able to fit a 60" tv in there but will have to look very closely at the dimensions before you buy. I'd suggest get the biggest one you can fit in there with your budget in mind.
