Looking for reliable 1 tb ssd

I am looking for a reliable 1 tb ssd. Locally I can get a MX500 for $136. Any better deals any one is aware of?

The one you listed - Crucial MX500 is a solid SSD and I paid $159 + taxes for mine few months ago. I think back in December of last year or early Jan of this year.

This the 2.5" SATA or Nvme?

Finally - I found someone else who is running a 2.5" SATA SSD setup haha. If you can't find anything else that is similar or better, then stick with the Crucial. I'm using the MX500 in another older Macbook Pro and it works wonders.

Nothing is 100% reliable.

I actually broke that exact NVME SSD.

That's not to say it's bad, but failures happen. Plan for it instead of hoping that it'll work forever.

Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

I have the Western Digital Blue SSD 2.5" and it works great. I got it from Newegg.ca. I think they regularly have a sale on them. I don't remember the sale price but $140 sounds pretty close.
