Beauty Outlet Private Sale - Aug 27 to Oct 10th (Markham)

Today was the first day and I went a bit before 5pm. Quick line inside to get in, but inside was... well, social distancing, what's that? lol It got pretty busy while I was there. I don't really like how they designed the aisles because it can only sort of fit two people pushing their carts along (in one direction). So it can get quite congested if someone's stopped in front of you with their cart to look at things.

I think the selection this year was the same as the last warehouse sale, just prices went up. There were some brands I didn't see before but I'm also not the most attentive person...

For those wondering: yes, there were Clarisonic products in case people need extra replacement heads. They also had some of the base products as well. Not sure how quickly they'd sell out.

Thanks for putting up with the photo dump. Hope this helps people decide whether or not to go this year.

Just my general thoughts:
- no cash. only credit or debit cards allowed for payment
- they are strict about no guests with ticket holders this time - one ticket per person at the sale
- staff are all masked up, taking precautions, there are barriers set up at checkout and hand sanitizer stations; for the makeup counter stuff, there are tissues and alcohol
- no testers whatsoever
- warehouse sale floor layout is designed to be in one direction only, but no one followed that...
- saw some really old stock for things, probably well past their use date - please check the manufacture date using a cosmetic calculator site like http://checkcosmetic.net/ or https://www.checkfresh.com/
- prices were up up up... there were a few sets and items I noticed that had higher prices this year compared to last year (looking @ you, Biotherm sets)
- maybe go at a time when people aren't coming off work - I would assume the first few days are going to be crowded... please take extra precautions or go later during the sale time period if you are worried about the lack of social distancing inside.

I was sorely disappointed by the lack of CeraVe products at this year's sale. Was counting on the sale to stock up on supply which my mom wanted.

I only go to the sale to stock up on CeraVe products as well. Guess I'll save myself the trip.

Deals definitely getting bad each year. Be aware my friend bought liquid eye liner. I was in a sealed package. When she opened it was all dried.

I scheduled to drop in between the 4pm and 6pm time frame for Friday and dropped by just before 6pm. When I arrived, I walked straight in. There were shoppers but it wasn't overly packed and I can comfortably browse and access items without having to squeeze between people or reaching over people.
I wanted to purchase the Cerave cream but wasn't able to locate it. I saw a staff and she was kind enough to check the back room AND the return section for me. She was extremely friendly and helpful and was able to locate the absolute tub of Cerave cream for me!
They had a large selection of sunscreen but I held back as I noticed the expiry date was July 2022 on the spf 30 sport and spf 50 that I was interested in.
My friend raved to me about the La Roche Posay Lipikar Baume. I found the 400ml version for $20 at the same (retails for about $30). They had an individual bottle as well as a bottle with a bonus cream, both for the price of $20. Obviously, I got the set with the bonus item.
They had a large selection dedicated to hair products and perfumes. They had some Lancome, Biotherm and Kiehl's products. When I was there, there weren't much selection for Kiehl's. They had some Clarisonic sets and brush heads available.
The makeup section was behind pexiglasses with staff ready to show and give you sample swatches. I didn't check out all the makeup, but I did see YSL products. They had foundation, eyeshadow sets, air cushions and lipsticks. On Friday, they only had 4 shades left in the air cushion going for $37 each and lipsticks were $21 each.
YSL air cushions were available in the colours: #5, #15 and #20 (the last colour's sticker got removed, but it's a darker shade than #20).
YSL lipsticks were available in colours: #77, #94, #52, #223, #79.
If you're in the area and can book a time slow, you can swing by to check it out. I personally wouldn't make a trip just for the sale.

Were there much of the Biotherm sets or products left? I was planning to check that out along with the hair dye.

I did see some shelves of Biotherm sets. I'm pretty certain hair dye will still be in stock and probably Biotherm sets too.

Went again today (Sept 8th) around 2:15pm. Was less busy than the first day I went. Took some pics again but not as exhaustive like last time. I noticed that there were some things that are sold out from the first day.

@katie9853864 lots of Biotherm sets and hair dye today. I think those are the two things you don't need to worry about at this sale, haha.
