Lorex 720P IP Camera $75

Deal Link:
Price:
74.99
Father's Day sale for various security cameras.
Found this one for $74.99 and add additional 10% father's day code.
Seems like a decent deal as I already have a LNC200 which records to my NAS for later viewing.

Site says $54.99 for me and allows a further 10% discount for Father's Day. Beware, many reviews suggest the camera is very difficult to set up, records in its lowest resolution (not HD), and frequently drops the wifi signal (which will pose a problem if you don't have it assigned to a static IP)

Make sure you click Canada on top left corner, or you'll be charged $54.99 US, when changed to Canada it shows $74.99 and use coupon code DAD10 for 10% off. Good find, I'm going to buy 4, help a friend setting it up for his small business. 60 day return policy not bad either if you don't like them

way too expensive for 720p camera. Aliexpress is the best choice if you want a cheap cctv system

Read reviews and it's a bit flaky with wifi like someone else mentioned here.

I'd prefer Foscam C1, which should be $5 more than this on Amazon.

Make sure you change your price to Canada.
I have the LNC26 720P camera and was fairly straight forward to setup. I can view on and setup notification on my iPhone as well as review from NAS if I want.

As I look over at my dual pack of LNC204's for around $50, I can't help but laugh as well.
Those were a HUGE upgrade from the camera's which they had run out of, and for the same price they shipped these instead.
The Lorex Ping app works great!
Not to mention the baby-monitor error, when they shipped a lot of us the incorrect model, refunded us, then didn't want the old one returned....I sold that for $125.
In the end, I wound up with two 720p IP Camera's, and around $75 in my pocket. :cheesygri :cheesygri :cheesygri :cheesygri

I laugh not at their quality, but their business model.
Talk about Customer Service, they have me for LIFE!

Can you recommend some? I'm interested in a decent security system for indoor/outdoor that I can "easily" remote access.

If you truly want an inexpensive option use any old laptop or Android smartphone (maybe iPhone too?) and run a Netcam/ipWebcam/iphone app.

The quality of the image will be better, you'll have local storage wifi capability to upload to NAS/Cloud/Youtube.

Reuse, Reduce, Recycle and save!

EDIT: Forgot about night vision, install a camera like this nearby (sometimes available at the dollar store) for night vision and for another vantage point.
