Lots of Iphone 13 128gb new for sale

Hi Everyone,

I am seeing tons of brand new Iphone 13 128gb for sale on kijiji and marketplace after black friday.
Just trying to figure out whats going on?

You could get the iPhone 13 128GB for less than $5 per month on a 2-year agreement during Black Friday weekend, then sell it to lower your monthly cost.

iPhones have very good resale value and there was no discounted financing and/or gift cards with iPhone 14s.

iPhone 14 is very similar to the iPhone 13, just the internals were redesigned to be easier to repair by Apple.

If original owner had AppleCare+ and after he sells you that iPhone 13 then report to Apple that the phone was stolen/lost, would Apple brick the phone?
Another scenario, what if that iPhone 13 is already stolen (break-in at store or store employee steals it from store), now what?

If someone report to their cell phone provider that their cell phone is stolen then it will put on the black list and you won't be able to use it in North American. It could happen right away or it could happen down the road. I would never buy a 2nd hand or used cell phone. You never know if someone is going to screw you over.
