Low Cost Brokerage in Edmonton

Thanks to this site where guys like Eonibm showed how easily a home buyer can become a realtor, I am currently on my journey to becoming a part time realtor in Edmonton in anticipation for a second home purchase this summer.

Anyway, since this is a part time thing where I will just broker my own deals and those of family and friends, paying high desk fees at brand name brokers like Remax is not an option. I do not need marketing support as my business will be generated strictly by word of mouth. Anyone knows or can recommend a good no frills brokerage in Edmonton?

I did an online search and came across this broker called Logic Realty: https://www.logicrealty.ca/join-our-team
They say they do not charge desk fees as they are a virtual broker
They do not do a commission split but just charge an administration fee in the hundreds for each transaction

Anyone knows of these guys? Am I missing something?

I'm in Edmonton and have heard about this brokerage that may suit what you are looking for: https://www.homesandgardensrealestate.com/

So did you already enrol in the Reca course?

Thanks for that info. I have just enrolled. I took a look at their site and seems to be just what I am looking. Are you also a realtor or a student?
