[Lowe's] 22" Little Giant Leveller Ladder $165

Dec 1 update

they now have it on sale for $165 so it's back on.

not as agood as original deal, but still decent

****

Hi all,

I don't know if these are on clearance at this time but this is a great price for the Little Giant 22". This is the upgraded Leveller model with adjustable feet length and quick release.

I just bought the 17" ladder at costco for $169 which comes with far less features.

The main disadvantage of the 22" ladder is the added weight.

Anyways, this would be a great deal for someone out there that can use the extra length for a well rated multi-use ladder.

NOT suitable for professionals; but would be a great all rounder for the homeowner that doesn't want to store multiple ladders around.

** wow, reading the thread; people have strong feelings about their ladders **

Summary

costco ladder ~ $169 @ richmond hill costco in-store
- megalite 17"; weight ~ 30 lb, shorter, no quick adjustment (standard u locks to adjust height), no self leveller, more expensive
*** BUT LIGHTER AND SHORTER for transport
** backed by costco

Lowe's 22" ~ $157 @ lowe's in-store; can order online
- Leveller 22"; higher end version; weight ~ 40 lb
- feet have individual adjustment for uneven surfaces
- quick release adjusters for height
** longer and heavier; but more useful if you need the extra height

comparison
- my Canadian tire 6ft; aluminum step ladder
~ 20 lb

not everyone has space for a full extension ladder; I'm trying to Mari Kondo it out so I'm consolidating 2 ladders into 1. Trade off is that it's heavier but I'll be able to transport it around in my sedan.

The 22" seems a clear win IF the extra weight isn't a deal breaker for you.

Extra discounts

I've had one of these for about 10 years.

They're extremely well made but it is probably my least favourite ladder to use for just about anything because it weighs a million lbs.

Little did I know, how they defined the "22 ft"... yourself also involved.

Wow that's deceptive. I don't normally order ladders online, got this one as it's perfect for a few use case at home, but is that how height is normally defined?

Thanks for sharing, that was one of my concerns...
