Yes it was similarly posted under lowes philipshue clearance and other smart stuff was 30% off. I like others got orders cancelled.

No it was not mentioned in that thread. Smartthings were not on sale at the time. You realize that SmartThings is specifically Samsung right? It's not random "smart stuff".
