[Lowe's] Ariens Deluxe 24 - Pricematch to $1259

Home Depot has the Ariens Deluxe 24 on sale for $1399 with model number 921045
Home Depot Ariens Deluxe 24

You can price match this item at Lowe's for an additional 10% off using their PM policy.
Lowe's Ariens Deluxe 24

After PM, your price should be $1259 plus HST. This constitutes a $340 discount or 22% off.

This is pretty much one of the best snowblowers you can buy, short of getting a Honda. It is also the lowest price this unit has ever been posted here.

Thanks, been waiting for a sale for this model.

Edit:
Lowe's first said they weren't sure because the HD site says not sold in store. But they came back 5 mins later and approved. $1422.78 including taxes

This model has never been cheaper than $1259. Musta been a slow year for blower sales.

I have the 2017 model. It's been a beast. No issues with regular yearly maintenance. Always use ethanol free gas.

I have an Ariens 24 inch that must be about 10 years old. It got fired up for the first time this year yesterday morning and it fired up the second I hit the start button. It's been a great machine. It gets lubricated every spring and fall and the oil changed in the spring. Like Jedi66 I always use ethanol free gas and add fuel stabilizer - IMHO the best thing you can do for a small engine.
Have a Question? Don't be afraid to ask.

Remember...as mentioned by many others, ETHANOL free fuel ONLY and stabilizer. It’s the least easiest thing you can do for your small engines that can keep them running well!

Jusy used mine (28") today for 4 hours on heavy, heavy snow. Starts first pull. Shoveled the roof onto the deck, then blew it off. Snow , ice, compacted heavily; wheels spun on the wood so I pushed it ,but it loves to work hard. Then up to the driveway at the road, both lanes plowed into mine, dense stuff higher than my knees; chews through it very well. Blows 30 feet up and 50 ft out with the heavy stuff.
Maintenance is key, premium gas and Seafoam.

Parents bought an Ariens 24" in the early 70s. Used it in the 70s, 80s, 90s until they couldn't use it anymore (their age, not the snowblower's); then it was sold or given away, still running good.
Completely reliable and well-built. If I needed a snowblower, I'd buy an Ariens again (and hope they were still as well built as back then).

Im still hoping for a similar Ariens deal. Anyone know the largest coupon you can get from Lowes? and were you able to combine with price match?

edit - looks like 125 off of 1500 is max. I'm probably going to buy in next day or two.
