Can this be used with home automation or do you need to buy something separate to control it?

Thanks OP
$10 cheaper from last time. If you price matched with HD before, you can get $10 difference back

Is there a down side to over sizing the opener? Ie. I only have a double garage with a regular door, won't need the 1.25HP (currently PM'ed the 750C 0.75HP model but can return and get this deal instead).

Thank you for your patience. The new price will be $269.10 pre tax. Go ahead and place the order and give the order number once done. I will then go ahead and adjust the price
Thanks, OP!

Thanks OP! Ordered 2 and pricematched through phone.
Now need a deal on the 8' extension kit... I tried to PM it with Lowe's and they said the model # has a G in front in Lowe's but doesn't at Home Depot.

Thanks! I've been eyeing these for a while for a new build that we're getting in the winter and this goes above and beyond for pricing!

Ordered 2 and price matched online and I think they made a pricing mistake, as they gave it to me for $239.10 each. Never going to complain and the person was amazingly friendly and kind!

I just successfully PM’d with Lowe’s via chat for the extension kit. Here are screen shots that may help you.

Nice find here OP. I have just been looking for a garage door opener recently.

I got a Chamberlain 3/4 HP one for $269.99 last week from Canadian Tire and will certainly return that and take this one with a price match!

Thank you OP. I was able to use chat and price match for 2. $269.10 + tax for each.

I was going to order from Costco but I don't see it available anymore on their website, and I can't remember their price. I believe it had included the laser park and the smart lamp switch.

Yes its overkill, but not in the sense that you've wasted your money necessarily. It just means the motor works less hard than it normally would lifting a double car garage door. I suppose that means it would also last longer, theoretically speaking,

Bought this in the fall for the same price. Installed this spring and love it. Beats the Genie bought for near the same price which was a piece of absolute junk

I have this garage door opener, it’s incredibly quite and way over kill for my single car garage. The myQ app is meh, but has recently opened its API for free for google hub devices.
