[Lowe's] Clearance days at Lowe's{YMMV}

I went to my local(Ottawa) Lowe's and there is 'huge clearance' event, but it's 30% off on yellow dot prices.

I know it's not a hot deal and they run this every now and then. But it may help few people.

Cambridge was stickering yesterday. No 30% signs but they were just setting up the clearance items.

There is a huge clearance at Rona & maybe Réno-Depot too coming up.

Do you suppose this is in store only?
Or part of the upcoming flyer?

Edit : nevermind saw this. In store only

Hopefully Rona has it online again, vs. having to go to the store to search.

I have been to Innes and to Hunt Club. A lot of the stuff is overlapped. 50% of the stuff is truly junk (bath sponges, random junk, odd paint colours, furniture pads).

The rest of the stuff is general items that are not a deal till 75%/80% off.

Reno Depot had the nicest stuff (leaf blowers, some patio and a few 2k snow blowers) but once again, I don't get out of bed till it hits 65%.

This is coming from someone that spent over 7k in the winter sale.

This is at Whitby North Lowe's.

At 30%, most things still seem overpriced. Will wait for further markdown.

So true lol

Did Costco start to sell Christmas stuff yet? I always feel it's depressing seeing those winter stuff that early

I think he means increase the reduction, say to 40% or 50%.

I recall last year they had yellow stickers on some items giving 50% off, then gave an additional 50% off on all yellow sticker items.

+1

Based on last year's sale, although the discounted products were consistent across stores I went to, the discounts/pricing at each one varied quite a bit. Both the % discount and "starting from" price varied (some stores discounted from the regular price, others started from an already reduced price).

The sweet spot seems to be at around 50-60% before most of the good stuff is picked up.
