Keep in mind these are 12 point sockets - for stronger loads 6 point is preferrable

A socket adapter set is fairly inexpensive - might be better

This is definitely a light duty set. I have a few of these style sets, they are alright for everyday small jobs. I do find that I need Standard and Metric for my older house, plus other hobbies I have. That ratchet looks about 6" long to me...

Deal is ice cold for those in the GTA. The 135 piece set with 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 drive ratchets and sockets was $52.65 last month at almost every GTA location, stock was also bountiful. With the $10 off orders over $50 email sign up code, dropped it to $42.65 a set. I picked up 2, one as a gift and the other as a backup to my main socket set.

This is good for very minor tasks around the house and assembling ikea furniture. Would be very limited on a car.If this will be your only set, my advice is spend an extra $60-80 for a full Stanley/Mastercraft set that has 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drives when it's "on sale" for $120.

Agreed, saved me the post... Spend the extra 40$ and get an in-depth kit with at least two ratchets and more useful tools.
