[Lowe's] DEWALT 12V Max LED Work Light $15.39 YMMV

Original price 76.99. Reviews seem great.

You may PM it at HD to bring the price to $14. HD has 100 online stock. —— may not be since it is clearance

You could do an online chat with HD to bring the price even lower.

HD denied PM. They don’t PM clearance? Anyone else with luck?

I'm assuming tool only? But why wouldn't it mention it in the description?

Sorry. HD has a policy that not matches clearance. It would be purely luck if one can do.

It's more like a head light than a work light IMO. It's only 130 Lumens.

Even at half price, I'm not sure I can pay $50 for a work light. Sure, if I was a contractor, or mechanic, moving around, and working in dark spaces every day, I would not think twice about it. Though it would be super handy occasionally for me, for how often I'd use it, I'm still struggling to justify it. I do want it though! Between my 200 lumen headlamp, AA Maglite, and and corded worklight, I've been getting by ok.

I agree with some who commented that 12V is an issue with this deal.

It looks like Dewalt is blowing out all the 12V products which means the product line will be obsoleted in the near future. For those who are on the 12V eco-system, better stock up on batteries now as they will be harder to find very soon.

It's so sad the industry has not standardized on a universal battery and doesn't seem to have any plans in that direction.

I don't think so. They are not making the line obsolete. They are updating it. The 12V line has a new 5Ah battery, new impact, new saw, and more on the way.

Yes, it's tool only, no battery.

I got the 12v set and it's perfect for stuff around the house. I also have the 20v bosch which is good for more heavy duty things but nothing wrong with the 12v for every day things.

Dewalt has also some of the best bit accessories out there that of course will work all other drills.

The dewalt fastener sleeve and magnetic screw holder have saved me on a number of occasions.
