Never used these but they look simple to hook up. Good company from a reputable retailer. Bought 3 boxes from the Queensborough store. if it sucks I'll just return it.

Anyone know what protocol these use (wifi, zigbee, zwave etc.) as I can't find any info. Picture shows a small hub is included too, so I'm guessing zigbee.

EDIT: Zigbee

Search for 'GE Link Starter Kit' worked from photo worked. Review above (from 2015) was talking about them being cleared out, so amazing there's still any on shelves. Supposedly works with any Zigbee hub, so Smarthings, Hubitat etc. Still, a good price for two bulbs and ditch the hub.

I've used these bulbs with the hue ecosystem. They work okay but they gather moisture inside the bulbs which I'm sure is the cause of mine failing early. Some people have drilled holes in them so it doesn't happen. They always show as "unavailable" in the hue app but work anyway!

Zigbee. These are the GE link bulbs, you'll see them mentioned a lot in the early days of hue as compatible.
