Honeywell T5 Smart Thermostat - $80.08 (or even FREE w/rebate program - YMMV)

Deal Link:
Price:
80.08
Retailer:
Lowes
The Honeywell T5 is on sale again for $89.00 at Home Depot, price match opportunity at Lowes + 10% off bringing the price down to $80.08. If you are an Enbridge customer this thermostat is eligible for a $100 bill credit (until December 31, 2018) pretty much making it free*

btw, if you have a google home/mini this is compatible, so you could make your home "toasty" in the middle of the night without even picking up your phone/getting out of bed if your thermostat is downstairs.

This vs Nest gen 3. What's up with the huge price difference? They both seem similar... Thanks!

I installed this at the house a few months ago. Works well. Just went and bought 3 more. The fact that it was the app for full control from anywhere was
what sold me on it.

I installed this last November and very happy with it. Also got my Enbridge bill today and noticed balance was - $29.00. Turns out I got my $100 credit rebate for this :)

Installed a few weeks ago and it's great. Two questions for others: how long after claiming the rebate did you see it posted to your statement? Is there a way to stay logged in to the app without session expiring and having to log in every time?

In IOS with Lyric app it is always logged in. Closing app, and open again, no need to sign in
rebate take 6 to 8 weeks they say

I filed my claim in late October and my $100 credit appeared on my Enbridge bill in December.

how do you claim the rebate? do you have to have an enbridge inspector come to your home? or is it just an application form fill out and you're good to go.

https://www.go2claim.com/customer/claim ... ectcomfort

just go to the above link, you will get prompted to connect to your T5, and thats it, then it's just a waiting game for the credit to appear.
