[Lowe's] *HOT* Corona Tree Pruner $25 *YMMV*

I've been keeping an eye open for a deal on a pruner/pole saw and stumbled on this one at Lowe's.

I was unable to locate this product on their website.

Regular price tag was $100. Clearance price tag $50. Scanned at $25.

$136.89 on amazon.ca, reviewed well on amazon.com.

uhhhh - you typically are supposed to prune during late winter or early spring...

Cant tell what this is or if it’s really hot. A product code or picture or link to amazon review might have helped.

TBF, the link to the Amazon item is in the OP. You even quoted it. It's just poorly displayed since the text was not changed

There are 2 types of pruners :
- I will make this tree beautiful (late winter or early spring pruning),
- I hate this stupid tree (anytime pruning)

lmao

There's also
- Ok, this doesn't seem that hard, it looks much better now. Wait, why is it dead?

Guess which I fall into.

Is this the fiberglass or composite shaft pole pruner? The composite one has a bit better reviews and is reg. $99.99 at lowes.ca but the one in the amazon.ca link looks like the fiberglass one which is $79.99 at Lowes. Either way I'm in for one if my store has the deal, any chance you could post the receipt for me to reference? Thanks for the heads up on this OP! Made my day

Wow, nice. I'd just gotten a Fiskars model from Rona for $57 recently, and while it's okay, it sure doesn't feel as well made as what my dad had growing up. This for $20/$25 is a sweet deal.

For those asking: see pics . Sudbury store. Killer deal IMO. It's the first line on the receipt. Also, fyi, it's a chain drive which is, apparently, much stronger/more durable than just rope.

Thanks OP, there were lots left at the Whitby location. My old man has been looking for a deal on these for awhile so I picked one up for him. They had a box with about 15 of them left outside in the garden center marked at regular price but they rang up at $20. There was also one left of a slightly upgraded model for $25.00 inside.

The models looked like:
TP 3714 (The model number at the Whitby lowes differed but seemed to be same item) - Regular 79.99 - Scanned at 20 - located in garden center and also on inside wall. About 15 left on Monday October 28. They'd been sitting outside awhile so packaging was good on some, rough on others.

TP 6870 - Regular 99.99 - Scanned at 25 - only 1 left, located on inside wall, packaging was pretty busted up.
