[Lowe's] Kobalt 1700-PSI 1.2 Electric Pressure Washer $89

$99 sale price, combine with new account coupon bring it down to $89

I purchased this pressure washer last year at the same price, happy with it so far, enough power for car wash, cleaning deck or interlock with the turbo nozzle, or any casual household cleaning use. Easy to carry around when washing. I haven't tried the foam cannon yet, Kobalt describes it as a "Soap Applicator" rather than a "Foam Cannon", I did watch some Youtube videos, it is not as efficient as a true foam cannon, but still decent to have it as a soap applicator.

Important: In winter, store this unit indoor or in heated garage, NOT in the shed at backyard

Note that the Kobalt pressure washer is a rebrand of Greenwork 1700psi pressure washer, they look similar and are identical, just different color and brand name. You might not be able to find reviews for this Kobalt one, but a lot of reviews for the Greenwork one.

Also there are some accessories on clearance for this pressure washer, clearance items so stock is very limited.

The best Youtube review:

Last but not least, this is a under $100 dollar, entry level, casual household use only pressure washer, it will suit your need if this is your first pressure washer, and you just want to do some easy cleaning work here and there. Around this price point ($100-$200), the motor and building quality doesn't vary A LOT among those brands, Ryobi, Kobalt, Greenwork, Sunjoe, Karcher, etc. Also it will not be a big difference between 1600-2000psi for these entry level pressure washers, those number are just numbers. SO just pick up whichever you like.

This guy did a crazy series to review many entry level pressure washers, for those who are interested:

If Ryobi was same price as this for $99 I would say Ryobi. That's the decision I made when I bought my Ryobi last year but it seems this year it is on sale for $118.

If I wanted to hook this up to my brand spanking new Gardenia 100' hose with quick connects, do I need an additional adapter for that?

I thought Gallons Per Minute is more important? This one is 1.2.

Enough for me to clean the deck of all dirt and grime before painting it. Did a great job.

Ordered one - was in the market to try and revive my greyed PT deck boards on the dock this summer. Need to read up on these things (never owned a pressure washer) - I assume they need a pressurized water supply, or can I get away with tossing the intake hose in the lake?

As I attached the Youtube Channel "Obsessed Garage" at the end, this guy did a series review almost every single entry level pressure washer, he tested and measured each machine using same method, result is that no matter brand and model, every unit is overrated by manufacture on both PSI and GPM. For a pressure washer around $100, those PSI and GPM is just number, does not make a big difference, and you will not notice any difference. Of course it's another story for higher end brand and units.
Check out that series, I had a lot of fun watching those.

last year i bought this from rona. It took them 7 weeks, yes 7 weeks to prepare for a pick up. After 7 weeks I couldnt wait any more so just cancel that order. No body in store answered the phone all the time. Headquarter customer service would tell you it's still processing. 40 mintues waiting time for online chat is normal.

Just my personal experience with LOWES.

So was that experience with Lowes or Rona?

I was an idiot and sprayed bug spray on my house to kill some clusters of spiders.
Now those areas are all stained.

will this be throng enough to remove bug spray staining from the vinyl siding? or will I need some heavy duty gas pressure washer to rip that bug spray off?
