The thing to note is that Lowes is getting rid of kobalt now that they have Mastercraft brand. So buying replacement anything is a pain. The mower is rebranded greenworks so you can still get parts through greenworks directly I think.

i know it doesn't have blower or trimmer
Not sure it is a fair comparison, the Kobalt is a 16 inch mower whereas the Ryobi is a 20 inch mower and more powerful. A better comparison would be the Ryobi 16 inch.

I have the Ryobi 40V 16 inch mower with 40V trimmer since spring of 2014 and they are still going strong, battery life still great, only maintenance so far is sharpening the blade and refilling the trimmer line. When new I would be able to cut and trim my small lawn on 1 battery, still the same today. I'd imagine the newer versions are better. The Ryobi 40V 20 inch mower is also decent, my friend picked one up this spring and it is working great for him, I like that it folds for storage. I feel the 20 would be better if you have bigger lawn to cut. Either way, extra batteries are damn expensive if you need them.
