cheap. but note this wont be able to cut a 4x4 or any taller molding. especially if you are trying to do a mitre. I have a 10" propulse (rona brand) and wish i had saved for a 12"

This thing has pretty amazing reviews on Amazon (and elsewhere).

Consensus seems to be that the provided blade should be replaced with a better one. I'm going to be laying laminate in 3 rooms this summer as well as redoing some parts of my deck. This should be the perfect tool for most of these jobs.

Thanks OP!

I have this and cut all sorts of stuff since last November without problems.

1000 sqft oak engineered hardwood 5 inch wide planks
7.25" high baseboards for 5 rooms 5 closets
1x6 poplar, pine

Cuts were nice and clean.

I didn't try 2x4 as I was done framing already.

I applied to $10 coupon and got it for $89 before tax

This is my portable / loaner saw. Good value and nice and light. Certainly does the trick. Have the 12" Milwaukee for heavy work.

I wouldn't suggest it as your only saw though, too many limitations.

If you want a buy-for-life saw, get a 10" compound sliding saw.

the saw being 7 1/4", take almost an inch out for the centre bolt holding the blade and divide by 2. so, you can at max cut something of a thickness of 3<ish> inch. so, yeah 4x4 is a no go. however, it being able to slide is a good to cut anything that is wide (example trims) which i believe is what most people will use this for and it should do that job very nicely.

I bought this on the last flash sale recently, have not tried it yet, the weather has not been saw conducive
This is probably the best price we will see with the dollar tanking, though the cheapest i have seen was $79.99 1-2 years ago

I bought it in November 2014 for 79$. Great little saw, it's light and compact. No problem with 2x4. The laser isn't really useful, and, I always forget it on, so the battery is always empty.

Okay...found the $10 coupon on Lowes website...near bottom of page." SIGN-UP FOR EMAIL,GET $10 OFF FIRST PURCHASE",, note;you must use this within 10 days or void.I ordered for pick-up at store;$89 + tx.
I found this website ordering system to be EXTREMELY clunky.
Good-luck 2 all
