Nest for $249 with 3x Air Miles is pretty solid for those folks who can get an Enbridge rebate too.

Absolutely great deal on the Nest. It was $269 on Black Friday, so additional $20 off plus 3x Air Miles is good.

Not the best, it was at least twice for $899 less 15% coupon, so $764. Say nothing that some lucky forks got it for $699 with those "unauthorized coupons". Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Winking Eye

True, but anyway, unless you're ready to drive at least 50km (the closest store with a good stock), I doubt you'll even buy it in our area. Smiling Face With Open MouthWaterloo has 5 on hands, Cambridge - 1. And no shipments are expected before December 26. So, add a shipment price or gas price to it. ;)

Anyone have experience or comments about the Firman Portable Generator for $299? Seems like a good deal, only need it for occasional use during power outages (Sump Pumps, Fridge, etc.)

The 3 piece with radio is actually cheaper today, since it's $249 tax in. (in Ontario at least). Tax free sale ends today though

I got the Cub Cadet snowblower deal about a month ago... So far only one real use out of it and its great. Highly recommend it even at the Boxing Day price.

Gotta love the huge discrepancy in drywall pricing due to the ridiculous tariffs that were slapped on a little while back. What I assume is a flyer from out East vs. the flyer I got out West (Saskatoon)--$~7 vs. ~$12.

The one in Burlington wouldn't for me, when I tried. Said they weren't local (even though they have stores in Toronto). SO I went to Home Depot instead :)

Depends on rep/store you goto. They sometime will even reject HD if you get a bad rep or make you wait till they call home depot to confirm stock.
