I just got this over the weekend at home outfitters which were closing and got 30% off 62.99. Wish I saw this, mine was red/stainless. I really like it.

Had issues finding reviews aside from Lowes + Oster. Pulled trigger anyways, hopefully turns out good

I'm guessing they're all made in the same garage or basement in China as they all suffer similar problems. The company track record speaks for itself. Manufacturers of crap often change things slightly to confuse people. In the meantime, my 10 year old free Gevalia coffeemaker is going strong.
