Last sale price I recall for this was something like ~$185, but it was due to a Lowe's promo code that should have only applied to regular light fixtures.

There seems to be a bug on the Ring.com website where you get a double discount if you are Ring Protect Plus subscriber. So you can get 2 wired floodlight cams for $274 USD (roughly $370CAD - so $185 CAD each). There’s free shipping and no duties either and the gravy is NO TAX!

I did the lowes deal, it was 185 each, I ordered 2.

Would have done the US had I know about it.

Does anyone know if Ring has schedule mode to turn on 'lights' at sunset and off at dawn but the cam is on 24/7?

Not sure if the light will turn on with motion even during the day.

Yep, you can setup the lights to come one and off whenever you want. You set the timers using standard hours of the day.

Thanks for pointing that out. In true rfd fashion, I was a little disappointed I got the second best deal, getting the lowes order rather then the ring.com one. Lol

Oops...you’re right. The double discount works on 2 floodlight cams also - but it is a bit more expensive at $322 USD (approx $217CAD per camera).

I'm looking to replace my Amcrest camera that's starting to crap out. What are people's comments about Nest vs Ring cameras for outdoor use?

Sidenote: Amcrest sucks. Their customers service is the worst and everyone should steer clear of their products!
