How come I can't seem to find anything in between 5000k and 2700k? IIRC isn't there a 3100k that should be available? Seems as though they've discontinued it :S

I like 3000k but depends on the lighting situation. Sadly I didn't see any on sale

5000K is great... for utility rooms and workspaces. Not so great for living situations, it's really harsh. 2700K (incandescent equivalent) is fine, but pretty yellow. 3000K (halogen equivalent) is still a hint warm, but brighter and crisper than 2700K and great for general living use. I like 4000K for bathroom vanities.

At $1.25/bulb it is kinda expensive, bought these 1.5 years ago for $0.50/bulb.

Let me know and I'll lend you my time machine if you want them cheaper!!!!!

In all seriousness though, these bulbs have been great. At night the house does seem a bit dark, but we have basic 1 bulb builder light fixtures and dark hardwood. It's fine in bedrooms with light carpet.

Did you have an Ontario Saves Coupon back then. If so. Doug Ford killed that program pretty quick.

Was hoping that the Osram wifi bulbs and hubs would be clearanced again as they were a couple years back but nope. That outfit was absorbed by Sylvania and should have had the old stock packaging dumped. Not buying stuff for $40+ knowing it was $10 on clearance some months back. Ditto on their batteries. One month they are on clearance for a few bucks a package. 6 months later THE SAME ITEMS are ON SALE for a couple bucks off. What an odd company...

How is the quality of this compared to Phillips? Currently, home depot is selling them 9.97 for 4pk. last time i bought roughly at 5-6$ when there was energy coupon.

Will these (or any basic LED bulb in general) hold up when used outdoors, like for a porch lamp? I've read that the life of LEDs (the circuits) will be significantly reduced when exposed to the summer heat and winter freeze.

Coupon? It was Save on Energy Deal Days instant rebate, no coupon required.

Good thing I really stocked up on these before the program ended. At 50¢/bulb, it was a no-brainer. Now when I see a "hot deal," on these I'm always disappointed lol

Don't worry I don't downvote
