$52.99 for 2x8x14 PT? Is that what they cost these days?

EDIT: I built a deck in March and paid $1.59/ft for 2x8 PT. I just checked the price list and it's now $2.89. Insane

There is big time shortage of wood. Supply and demand.

I am surprised they are discounting, but give we are almost in winter, they will probably try to get rid of any extra PT

2x4's were $3.5 four months ago and were $6.08 a month ago.

Price is cold IMO. This deal on wood isn't giving me any wood at all. Lol

I paid $9 a month ago. Down to $8 this past week. This is in BC, where it literally grows on trees.......everywhere.

I paid $7.05 for 2x4s at HD yesterday, and they weren't fantastic boards either. Crazy how much lumber has gone up in price.

Is this pressure treated?
If so, the price is decent in the current climate.
