So after you've reached the data limit, you get unlimited data throttled to 128 Kbps. How fast is that? Is that fast enough to use Google maps or stream audio from Spotify?

It was an ad on facebook, it was the same last time they had this promo as well. It’s not advertised on the website. Must show the link.

Personally never went pass my limit but it’s suppose to be enough for google maps and Spotify and light browsing. Maybe someone that used it can comment on it better

I switched to Lucky 6 months ago after being on Rogers for 6 years. I can detect no difference in speed in regular use.

is the extra 2.5gb given once or it's added to your plan as long as you have automatic top up?

I agree. For everyday use you don't notice it. Only when you need to update a app that's over 50mb.

edit: this is regarding the unlimited 128mbp, their 3g is great but i find it gets used up so fast on an iphone.

i use lucky mobile, works great for msging, whatsapp, and browsing on the google.com domain. Also works well for find my phone.

things like: Instagram, snapchat, spotify, soundcloud, tsn, youtube, google maps navigation (i thought i fixed this using offline maps), are terrible.

i tried to download an pdf where it showed me data size progress... my rough calucations i was more like 54mbs.. any ways cant complain, it gets the job done.
