It has a 750 MB data bucket that drops to 128 kbits after usage, but that cap can be used for unlimited music streaming, or VOIP purposes, as well as basic browsing.

EDIT: typo

If your data usage in a month exceeds your 3G speed data allotment, you can continue to use data with no overage charge, but data speeds will be reduced from up to 3 Mbps to up to 128 Kbps (for both download and upload) until your next Monthly Charge Date. When data speeds are reduced, you should still be able to access email, browse the web and use most applications. Applications that require higher speeds (e.g. video streaming) are likely to be affected by the data speed reduction. Subject to acceptable use restrictions in Terms of Service, including consuming excessive network capacity or causing our network to be adversely affected. See luckymobile.ca/terms for details.
16KB/s, that's very slow internet browsing lol, barely enough to stream music, quality will suffer

Lol, it drops to 128 Kbps, much different than "mbits".

128 Kbps is quite literally the speed of dial up - you'd have quite low quality music streaming at that speed, and with the trend of webpages and apps getting larger over time, very limited web capabilities.

Unlucky Mobile is what my eyes at first glance saw.

Then I read the comments and taking the un out of "limited data" sounds more like it.

That was a typo, my bad. 128 kbits unlimited still can have it's uses. That is still over 40 megabytes a month.

56k was about 40Kbps, so this is 3x faster but yeah, webpages are humonguous noawdays, might be OK with a browser like Opera Mini that renders on the cloud and send you a compressed view but didn't work that well with interactive websites.
ISDN internet speeds and early days DSL

Right, if you downloaded 24/7 at 128Kbps, you can download close to 40GB in a month (~1.3GB/day), not too shabby.

40 GB a month of constant usage. You may need to work on your prefixes ;).

For the right user that offer can be quite interesting, that's true, not for everyone though.

The carriers should be banned from these deceptive marketing tactics. This is NOT unlimited and should not be allowed to be called unlimited. 16KB/sec is practically the same as 0KB/s in 2019. This is essentially the same as cutting off your service when you reach your allotment.

Screw Bell and their crappy unlucky mobile service

The carrier didn't call it unlimited, the OP did :)

It's $15. You will not get a data overage charge. It's a start and something this country never had 6 months ago. It's also on the LTE network so latency should be fine.

That is true. At the very least, Bell was not crowing about the unlimited part. This is their text, pretty up front, as far are things Bell does usually.

500 MB Data at 3G speeds + 250 MB of bonus data every month with Automatic Top-Up
Unlimited additional data at reduced speeds of up to 128 Kbps for email, light browsing and messaging once you have exceeded your allotted 3G data.

The issue isn't with the deal but just that the title misrepresented it.
Anyway, edited the title, hope it's clearer now.

Maybe not this exact plan so much, but the $25 plan includes unlimited Cda wide calling, unl text and 1GB of data followed by the 128kbps throttled data - that is a fairly decent offering

Yup, actually that kind of overrage protection should be offered by other carriers (even at a nominal fee).

According to the FAQ, it seems like this throttled data is available to all plans that have data. Am I reading it right?

The $15 100 Minutes Canada-wide Calling Plan does not seem to have it. But that plan only has bonus data, so that might be why it does not qualify
