vox.com. Vox Media who owns The Verge? Vox Media who made erroneous takedowns requests of videos that youtubers created mocking and rightfully critiquing that terrible how to build a PC video sponsored by Capital One.

Lol. **** that spam company.

I read the rebuttal to this in my feed, but I can't find the link. Basically, the increased number isn't really viruses or trojans, it's fake aps, adware, that kind of thing, that users have stupidly installed on their own.

So it doesn't reflect on Mac OS security, but it does seem to suggest that Mac users are dumber than PC users. :D
Automatic down-votes: Eufy, D-Link, TP-Link, Newegg, Canada Computers, any Chinese-owned cellphone, laptop or IoT device.

That's actually incorrect, Mac's are not PC's.

You're right. Mac is a brand that is used on Apple's laptops and PC's. My bad.

everything is at risk regardless of what you do, just be lucky you don't get targeted by a group or person or bots depending on how much you earn or what your job is or title :) just do the basics and keep up with tech and software updates and do diligence on scoundrel social scheming with anti human malware antenna, general maintenance of hardware and os with third party software and keep updating and you will generally not have to worry :)

As long as the processor is a x86 based, you can call it a PC. Those old Macs that ran powerpc processors are actually not PC's.

Actually I can call it what I want. ;)

If it's incased in a box it's a personal computer aka PC.
If it's incased in a tiny box it's a mini PC.
If there's keyboard on it with a touchpad and a folding screen it's a laptop.
If it's a tiny device with a touch screen it's a smartphone.
If the touch screen device is the size of a pad, it's a tablet.
